Here at Lyon Acres we make sure that we give our bunnies a healthy start at life. First of all, I do not sell baby bunnies until they are at least 8 weeks old. This allows them to stay with their mothers longer. While with their mothers they are nursed and work on starting a healthy gut. They are offered a continual supply of orchard grass hay and are only fed organic pellets.
All bunny sales are final. Rabbits are healthy when sold. I do my best when determining gender. (I have been wrong before.) You are welcome to check before the transaction is complete. I also determine if the bunny is a dwarf gene carrier based solely on how the rabbit compares in size to his/her litter mates. This may not always be accurate.
Some rabbits can be sold with a pedigree. A pedigree is in no way a guarantee that the rabbit will be of a show quality. Although a couple of my daughters do show some of the rabbits, my primary goal is to breed good pets while trying to improve conformation.
At this point in time, I do not ship rabbits. Rabbits need to be picked up from the farm. If you are interested, I do sell 10-pound bags of nice orchard grass hay for $15.

Rabbits can live 6-10 years and deserve families who are committed to welcome them into their homes for their lifetime. They are not holiday decor.
